Supposed to have been named by the Indians after Yellow Creek in Mingo
Junctiom PA. Starts in Medina County and flows west to east. Contains a fall
of 400 feet which made it ideal for water power. That is believed to be why
many mills were built along the Creek. Main tributary is located in
Richfield and branches through Bath.
